Program Classes and Workshops

ALTS Capital Labs provides a comprehensive & integrative program designed to prepare businesses to be capital ready. The program (complete online connectivity) includes an intensive 6-week program of Master Class Sessions and Workshops taught by experienced financial, legal and tech professionals. ALTS Capital Labs is an integral component of the dynamic Greater Boston Area and provides significant connectivity to financing and innovation resources throughout the ecosystem. ALTS Capital Labs graduates are also provided connectivity to the larger ALTS Capital investor community, including leading venture capital groups and high net-worth individuals throughout the country. The program is organized into 12 value-added modules providing a comprehensive overview of key issues facing entrepreneurs, including:

Corporate Finance & Accounting - Comprehensive introduction to Corporate Finance, Financing Strategy and Financial Modelling and Business Valuation.
Barter Finance & Trade Systems - Introduction to the concepts of Barter Finance and related Trading Exchanges.
Blockchain & Digital Assets - Comprehensive introduction to the technology, uses and platforms of Blockchain.
Go-To Market Strategy - Go-To Market focuses on pre-revenue. Data analytical tools such as CRMs and email marketing accelerates post-revenue activity.
Storytelling - Helps organizations find their story and their voice and effectively communicate to audiences.
Branding & Marketing - Introduction to Branding & what it means to brand successfully your company, including WebSites & Landing Pages, PitchDecks & Brand Strategies.
IT Infrastructure - In-depth analysis of key technology fundamentals related to startup formation including: website design, computer coding, languages and software credits.
Business Negotiation - A comprehensive and integrated approach to Business Negotiations including: Strategic Alliances, Joint Ventures, and Supplier/ Vendor Contracts.
Legal Strategy - Business Formation, Intellectual Property Rights, Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDAs”) and Letters of Intent (“LOIs”). TermSheets and PPMs.

ALTS Capital Labs includes individual Mentoring Sessions. These sessions provide participants with personalized attention from investors, senior business professionals, and fellow entrepreneurs. They also provide a forum for preliminary business stress-testing and improvement. Mentoring Sessions are available one day/week.

The ALTS Capital DemoDay occurs at the conclusion of each 6-week program and includes individual company presentations and investor connectivity. Thereafter, additional curated education and professional development content is available through third-party relationships with ALTS Capital Labs Partners.

Founders Club

Founder’s Club is a membership-only online community which features workshops, webinars and specialized programs designed to accelerate StartUp success. The Founder’s Club (through its operator relationships) also provides its members access to a network of working spaces nationwide. ALTS Capital Labs also has a formal Mentor Program with each company assigned to a suitable Mentor upon entry into the Program with regular Office Hours. Mentors serve as a critical source of support and professional guidance for companies. Mentors also provide direct connectivity into their respective business & Startup Ecosystems.
